He appealed to people not to leave their homes after 9 pm and to stay calm.

Today, the Taliban entered Kabul and took over government offices from Afghan forces.

in the meantime; the office of former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has announced that a Coordinating Council has been set up to prevent chaos and reduce the suffering of the people, as well as to better manage a peaceful transfer of power in the country.

The Karzai office noted that the members of the council consisted of Hamid Karzai, Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, chairman of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan.

Former Afghan Interior Minister Ali Ahmad Jalali is likely to head the interim government after Ashraf Ghani ousts.

Earlier,  Afghan sources reported that Mohammad Ashraf Ghani had left Afghanistan at the same time as the Taliban ordered the group to enter Kabul, the capital of the country.

Many Afghan officials and people attribute the current situation in Afghanistan to the failed US policies in Afghanistan.

During its 20 years of failed military presence in Afghanistan, the United States has been incapable of containing the Taliban and has produced nothing but the spread of terrorism, war, violence, instability, and the killing of tens of thousands of people. 219
