President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi said: "The revolutionary ethos and spirit among the youth strengthen national independence."

Iran PressIran news: Raisi made the remarks this afternoon during a meeting with Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Dennis Moncada, adding that standing up to US unjust greed has made Nicaragua a model for Latin American countries and anti-arrogance movements in the region.

He said that the name of the Nicaraguan revolution has always been a familiar name to the Iranian people and that the Iranians have always wished the revolutionary nation of Nicaragua success and victory.

Raisi added that as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasizes that the revolutionary spirit, especially among the young generation, must always be alive, the leaders of the Nicaraguan revolution must not allow the revolutionary spirit to disappear among the people, especially the youth, over time.

He described the relations between the two countries as good and constructive and added: "The current relations between the two countries are not at an adequate level and serious steps should be taken to improve the level of relations by carefully examining the capacities of the two countries."

During the meeting, the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister congratulated Raisi, saying "Nicaragua continues to move towards achieving the goals of its revolution and, with the help of friendly countries such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, protects the common goals and ideals of the revolutionary countries, especially the fight against global arrogance."

"We must design and implement permanent and durable structures to strengthen the constructive relations between the two countries," said the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister.
