Tehran (IP) -The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan announced the presence of the Chairman of the Senate of this country in the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect of Iran.

Iran PressAsia: "Mohammad Ali Hosseini", Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, tweeted after meeting with Pakistani Chairman of senate Sadiq Sanjarani: "Pakistani Senate Speaker will soon leave for Tehran to attend the inauguration of President-elect Ebrahim Raisi."

The Iranian ambassador to Pakistan called the visit an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Iran's ambassador to Pakistan met with Pakistani Chairman of Senate Mohammad Sadiq Sanjarani in Islamabad on Friday.

In this meeting, Hosseini stressed the need to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the two friendly and neighboring countries.
