OVID vaccination for Journalists kicks off in Tehran

Tehran (IP) – COVID vaccination for journalists kicked off at Ekbatan Health Care Center on Thursday with the Iranian Health Minister in attendance.

Iran PressIran News: COVID vaccination for people who were active during the COVID-19 pandemic, including teachers, journalists, public transportation drivers, people with underlying diseases, prisoners, NGOs, cooperative societies workers, nomads and tribes, judges, court personnel, and if necessary, children under 18 has been officially decided today.

Before attending the journalists vaccinating ceremony, Health Minister Saeed Namaki and Education Minister Mohsen Haji-Mirzaei participated in the teachers' vaccination ceremony held at Shahr-e-Rey in order to reopen the schools as soon as possible.

The vaccination process will be extended to keep people safe, though all health protocols and social distancing should be fully observed.

So far, 8,848,936 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,558,802 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in Iran reached 11,407,738 doses.
