A court in Nigeria acquitted Sheikh Zakzaki

The Federal High Court in Kaduna State acquitted Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria and his wife Malamah Zeenah.

Iran PressAfrica: The verdict, which is considered historical, ended the six years of very painful and unlawful detention of the top Shi'a Cleric and his wife.

They were arrested after the Nigerian government raided their house in Zaria, killed hundreds of his followers, including women and children, and shot the cleric several times.
