Iranian Sports Minister meets his Japanese counterpart in Tokyo

Tokyo (IP) - Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth, Masoud Soltanifar, met with the Japanese Minister of Culture, Science, Sports and Youth Hagiuda Koichi at the Iranian Embassy, stressed enhancing sports cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressAsia: The focus of this dialogue is in line with the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on sports cooperation, which was signed last year between the Minister of Sports of Iran and Japan.

The exhibition of "Beautiful Iran" is scheduled to open with Iranian and Japanese sports officials at Iran's embassy in Tokyo.

The Minister of Sports and Youth, accompanied by the President of the National Olympic Committee, traveled to Japan to closely monitor the performance of the Iranian sports convoy at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Iranian convoy with 66 athletes participates in Tokyo Olympics 2020 and has won a gold medal.
