Iran Press/ Africa: The French military says the fighter jet crashed in the Hombori in Mopti province, Mali.
Both pilots survived the crash, according to the French military.
An official report on the cause of the accident has not yet been released, but media sources have stated that the cause is a technical defect.
France has been in Mali since mid-2013 under the pretext of fighting terrorism, but terrorists are still active in the country and have even expanded their activities from Mali to Niger and Burkina Faso. 219
