UNHCR appreciates Iran's services to Afghan's migrants

Tehran (IP) - The Head of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iran praised the services of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghan citizens.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ivo Freijsen, Head of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iran, on the sidelines of a visit to the city of Taybad in Khorasan Razavi Province in eastern Iran and a visit to the Dugharun border on Monday said: During the events and civil wars in Afghanistan, some countries and international institutions, especially Iran, rendered great services to the people of Afghanistan.

Freijsen added: We hope that with the efforts of all international organizations, peace and tranquility will return to Afghanistan, and we will not see any miserable events in this country.

The Head of the Office of the UNHCR in Iran stated: We seek to take positive steps to provide more desirable services to foreign nationals by gaining experience in Iran.
