Tehran (IP) - The Deputy Secretary-General of World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, said in a press conference that 'Afghanistan؛ lasting Peace and Security' forum will be held tomorrow in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, Hossein Akbari said: "In the vebinar various Afghan and international groups and parties influential in the Afghan peace process, will be attended and we hope that the event will lead to peace in Afghanistan."

Noting that the US expulsion has created a gap in Afghanistan, he added: "Despite their claims, the Americans have caused damage and increased drug production in Afghanistan. Of course, the Americans think of their own interests."

Hossein Akbari said: "Americans bring poverty and insecurity wherever they go, but with the struggle of the Afghan people, they fled."

The Deputy Secretary-General of World Assembly of Islamic Awakening added: "Today, insecurity and poverty threaten Afghanistan. The Taliban are also advancing rapidly in Afghanistan, and the question is, what will be the future of Afghanistan?"

Hussein Akbari said: "The Taliban is not an ethnic issue, because different ethnic groups have joined the Taliban to fight against Americans. It is logic that all ethnicities play a role in government, otherwise there will be a long war inside Afghanistan."

"After the US expulsion, Americans and their allies are seeking to launch a civil war in Afghanistan to prove that their presence in different countries will be useful," Akbari highlighted.

Calling the expulsion of the Americans from Afghanistan a great victory for Afghanistan, the official said: "A government of national reconciliation should be formed in Afghanistan."
