Iran Press/Iran news: The international webinar on the Role of Scientific and Cultural Centers in the proximity of Islamic Religions, which was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Al-Azhar delegation's visit to Iran, was organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) collaborating with The National Library of Iran.
Hamid Shahriari, Secretary-General of WFPIST stressed the need for unity and avoidance of division and said: "In Islamic teachings, the existence of peace and tranquility and avoidance of anxiety has a high status in society."
Shahriari called for the removal of some barriers related to Shi'a and Sunni seminaries as well as Shi'a and Sunni jurists and scholars.
