Tehran (IP) - The chairman of Iran's Pasteur Institute announced that the cooperation of Iran and Cuba to develop vaccines continues.

Iran PressIran news: "The process of joint production of Corona vaccine with the Finlay Institute is going well and we can reach mass production with a capacity of 3 million doses per month from October," Alireza Biglari said.

Biglari further said that the contract for the joint production with Cuba was concluded following the previous cooperation agreements, and the process was going well. 

He noted: "The vaccine has passed the third phase of the clinical trial in both Iran and Cuba, and its production has progressed well with the delivery to the cell bank of Iran."

According to Biglari, the first shipment of the vaccine, which is one of the most effective ones in the world, is ready to be delivered to the Ministry of Health of Iran.
