Istanbul (IP) – Iran's national youth deaf wrestling team will face its opponents in the World Championships in Turkey on Saturday.

Iran PressAsia: The youth competitions will start today and continue until Tuesday, 6 July.

In a phone conversation with Iran Press, the Head of the Deaf Sports Federation of Iran, Mehran Tishegaran, stated that the Iranian convoy to Turkey had been in the training camp for 6 months and is well prepared.

He noted that experienced technical staff had been employed to lead the national team and hoped that all 6 national Iranian wrestlers would seize a medal.

Iran's deaf wrestling convoy sent to the World Championships in Turkey is named after "Ali Delfani," in the memory of the late Iranian deaf wrestler.
