Salehi said that the construction of a nuclear power plant is expensive, but it is cheap to continue its work, adding that the service life of a nuclear power plant is 60 to 70 years and that the average nuclear power plant fuel price is $ 30 to 40 million per 1,000 MW.
He added: "Iran's leader has repeatedly emphasized two points about the nuclear industry; First, the nuclear industry guarantees reliable electricity for future generations, and second, It is a base for the authority of the Islamic Republic. In this regard, the Leader has repeatedly emphasized the country to reach the production target of 20,000 MW of nuclear power."
