Iran's Foreign Minister stressed the continuation of Iran's policy in supporting peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remark in a meeting with Afghanistan’s former foreign minister Salahuddin Rabbani in Turkey on Thursday.

Zarif underlined the need for cooperation of all sides in Afghanistan in dealing with the unfavorable security situation in the country.

For his part, Salahuddin Rabbani praised Iran's stands in helping to establish peace and security in this country.

Iran’s foreign minister also met with Afghanistan’s chief executive officer, Abdullah Abdullah during which he expressed concern over the security conditions in Afghanistan. In the meeting Abdullah appreciated the constructive efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran and briefed Zarif on the latest situation in Afghanistan.

Zarif left Tehran for Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) on Thursday heading a high-ranking delegation.
