EURO 2020: Czech Republic beat Scotland 2-0

Patrik Schick hit a sensational 50-yard strike as the Czech Republic went two goals ahead against Scotland on Monday afternoon's game at Euro 2020.

Iran PressEurope: The first seven games of the Euro 2020 tournament have given us some incredible goals. But all of them have just been completely overshadowed by what one Czech Republic striker did today.

After an impressive start from Scotland, the atmosphere at Hampden was built. However, Schick silenced the Scottish fans with his headed effort.

He rose highest to meet a cross from the right side, planting his header past Marshall in the Scotland net.

But it was his second-half goal that really caught the eye. Schick ran onto a ball into the Scotland half and managed to lob Marshall from a significant distance.

UEFA EURO 2020 has been held across 11 host cities from June 11, 2021, but both semi-finals and the final will be held at Wembley Stadium in London.
