Iran Press/ Europe: The 16th Geneva International Oriental Film Festival (FIFOG) will kick off from 21 to 27 June 2021 in the canton of Geneva and its municipalities.
This new edition offers around forty films of all genres.
"Careless Crime", directed by Shahram Mokri and produced by Negar Iskanderfar, will be screened in Switzerland by trigon-film after its screening at the festival.
The documentary "Walking with the Wind," directed by Mehdi Shadizadeh and produced by Alireza Shadizadeh, participates in the competition.
"Walking with the Wind" is about the various dimensions of late Abbas Kiarostami's works and is currently on display at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris.
Also, the short films "Inner Self" directed by Mohammad Hormozi and "Yocheved" (2021), Directed by Sahar Khoshcheshman in the short film competition section, two short films, "Exam" directed by Sonia K. Hadad and The Spit (Short 2020) directed by Armin Rahimian and Emad Emaminia will be screened in Audience Award section at the 16th Geneva International Oriental Film Festival.
In a related event, the animated film "The Fourth Wall" by Mahboubeh Kalaei was screened on Wednesday evening in the final section of the World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb 2021.
