Tehran (IP) - The candidate for the 13th round of the presidential election in Iran said that his government's social focus would be the family.

Iran PressIran news: Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi on Saturday, on the sidelines of the recording of his election campaign program at IRIB, in response to a question from Iran Press, emphasized the position of women in his government and said that his government focuses on youth and elites.

The candidate stated that it is time for Iranian women to enjoy more serious positions in high-ranking posts.

Ghazizadeh Hashemi emphasized that he personally opposes any view of gender discrimination and that what was the right of Iranian women has not been achieved and that in case of assigning them responsibility, it does not mean that no favor has been done for them.

The Guardian Council of the Constitution has approved the qualifications of seven candidates for the 13th round of the presidential election, and these candidates explain their most important economic, cultural, social, and political programs by appearing on various radio and television programs.

The thirteenth round of the presidential election in Iran will be held on June 18, 2021.
