Tehran (IP) - A Syrian member of parliament called on the Arab and Islamic countries' parliaments to work coordinately to solve the Palestinian issue.

Iran PressIran news: In a Tuesday interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the fourth extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Standing Committee of the Union of Islamic States, Maysa Salih stressed that the Syrian nation would never forget Palestine. 

"Holding conferences in support for Palestine sends an essential message to all those who seek to know our position, and that is that we must support Palestine materially and spiritually, "Salih noted, adding that the participation of Syria in Tehran's conference reflects the country's clear position over the issue. 

"Despite all the incidents that happened to the Syrians, Palestine is our destination and our goal; we are proud of our Arab and Syrian identity, and we are working to resolve the crises in the region," the Syrian MP noted.
