Tehran (IP) – The head of the Iranian parliament's commission for health, treatment, and medical education said there was more confidence in producing Iranian COVID vaccines.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Hossein-Ali Shahriari stated about the safety level of 'COV-Iran Barekat' vaccine: "With the studies performed and the groups that took this Iranian vaccine in the first and second phases of clinical studies, the efficacy results have been very high."

Noting that he injected the vaccine in the third phase of its clinical trial, Shahriari said domestic vaccines would work better in the future and we're no different from foreign vaccines.

Head of Parliament's Health commission expressed confidence in the domestic production of the COVID vaccine and expressed hope that the Iranian people could be vaccinated with homemade vaccines as soon as possible.

The final phase of clinical trials of the 'COV-Iran Barekat' vaccine was done on Saturday.

After clinical studies, this vaccine is delivered to the Food and Drug Administration of Iran, and the produced vaccine enters the injection cycle after the organization's approval.
