Moscow (IP) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is on the agenda of talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

Iran PressEurope: Ryabkov, in an interview with a Russian television network about Lavrov and Blinken's meeting next week in Iceland, said: This will be the Russian Foreign Minister's first face-to-face meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. "However, they have already spoken by telephone."

He added: "For this reason, the agenda of the talks is comprehensive and will include bilateral issues and international issues."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken have agreed to meet next week on the sidelines of a meeting of the Nordic Council in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

On bilateral relations between Russia and the United States, Ryabkov said that relations have recently been declining and that this trend must be stopped.

He added: As far as international issues are concerned, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the situation in the Middle East, and the process of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program will be discussed.
