Tehran (IP): Iranian President’s chief of staff called the violence of the Zionist apartheid regime against the Palestinian people a sign of inefficiency and tragic failure of international organizations in realizing human rights and defending the oppressed.

Iran Press/Iran News: Mahmoud Vaezi tweeted on Thursday: "The violence of the Zionist apartheid regime against the Palestinian people is another sign of inefficiency and scandalous failure of international organizations in realizing human rights and defending the oppressed."

He added: "This violence must be condemned by all freedom seekers and free nations. Thanks to the resistance of the Palestinian people and God's promise, oppression will disappear."

The occupied Quds and some other Palestinian cities have witnessed a large presence of Palestinian worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the last two weeks, when Israeli forces attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings. More than 700 Palestinians have been injured in the clashes so far.

A new round of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip began on Monday.
