Iran’s representative in Afghanistan meets with Ashraf Ghani

Kabul (IP) - The Special Representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry for Afghanistan Affairs met with the President of Afghanistan to discuss bilateral relations.

Iran PressAsia: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met with Mohammad Ebrahim Taherianfard, the Special Representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry for Afghanistan Affairs, to discuss relations between the two countries, recent developments in the Afghan peace process, and regional issues.

Taherianfard also met yesterday (Monday) with Abdullah Abdullah, Head of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation, to discuss developments in the Afghan peace process.

Following the recent terrorist attack in Kabul, officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirmed their support for the Afghan government and the people.
