Tehran (IP) - The Secretary-General of the World Islamic Peace Forum describing the liberation of Palestine as an Islamic ideal, stressed the importance of keeping the Palestinian cause alive among the Muslims and all freedom-seeking people of the world.

Iran PressIran news: The Secretary-General of the Islamic World Peace Forum, Davood Ameri, on Wednesday, emphasized the importance of keeping the Palestinian cause alive among the Muslims and all freedom-seeking people of the world.

"The liberation of Palestine is an Islamic ideal and one of the serious demands of the public opinion of the Islamic world, and from the distant past, Muslims have been seeking the return of the land of Palestine to the Islamic world," Davood Ameri added.

The Secretary-General of the Islamic World Peace Forum described the ideal of Palestine and the liberation of Al-Quds as a justice-seeking ideal and added: "This ideal is still alive among Muslims, elites and especially freedom-seekers in the Islamic world."

Ameri added: "This ideal has spread and today it no longer belongs only to Muslims and Islamic countries, but due to its justice-seeking nature, it has become a universal ideal, and many elites, intellectuals and non-governmental organizations and even international institutions around the world follow the ideal."

The Secretary-General of the World Islamic Peace Forum, stating that the opposition to the Israeli regime and its inhumane acts is expanding day by day in the world, concluded: "Opposition to apartheid against the Palestinians is one of the positive trends that we are witnessing in the world today."
