US envoy's goal is to re-propagate Yemeni war: Mohammed al-Houthi

A member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council says that the US envoy is not a messenger of peace, and has come to spread false news and re-propagate the war.

Iran PressMiddle East: Criticizing the US envoy to Yemen, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, said that if he wanted peace, he would have to come up with a plan based on clear facts and realistic approaches that the Yemenis would agree on with the aggressor coalition.

US Special Representative for Yemen Timothy Landerking recently called for an end to the sending of weapons to Yemeni forces and a cessation of hostilities in Mar'ib province as Yemeni forces are advancing in the province.

He said the war around the Mar'ib gas zone was the biggest threat to peace efforts.

At the same time, media sources reported that the Saudi coalition has announced its readiness through regional mediations to accept the previous plan of the National Salvation Government regarding Mar'ib to prevent its severe defeat in Mar'ib.

According to these sources, Saudi Arabia and its supporters have not provided the necessary guarantees to advance the Sana'a plan, which has left Sanaa questioning the sincerity of the Saudi-Emirati coalition.
