Iran Press/Europe: The Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov wrote on his Twitter account: "As always Iran is very transparent in its deviations from JCPOA. Needless to say that we aren’t happy with this but we are used to think big. We need to focus not on current difficulties but on restoration of JCPOA. If we succeed, this and other problems will be settled soon."
Gharibabadi wrote in his tweet: "Uranium enrichment of up to 60% will take place in two centrifugal cascades of IR-4 and IR-6 at Natanz site."
Referring to the beginning of this process, he noted: "We hope to store this product (uranium with a concentration of 60%) next week. This action will improve the quality of radiopharmaceuticals and increase their amount."
Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Tuesday that Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of a plan to start 60-percent uranium enrichment as of Wednesday, following an act of sabotage targeting the country's Natanz nuclear facility.
Upon initiation, the measure would be part of the remedial measures Iran has been taking since May 2019 in return for the United States and others’ non-commitment to the nuclear deal between Tehran and world countries.
