Tehran (IP) - Iranian president stressed that there is no better solution than the agreement reached between Tehran and world powers in 2015.

Iran Press/Iran News: "Today, a single voice is heard, and that is that everyone has concluded that there is no better solution than the JCPOA agreement and there is no other way but the full implementation of the JCPOA," president Hassan Rouhani said.

"In recent days, we have witnessed a new chapter in the revival of the JCPOA. These days, all parties to the agreement are in Vienna. Today, a single voice is heard, and that is that everyone says that the JCPOA is the best and there is no other way but the full implementation of the deal, and this is a new success for Iran," Rouhani said.

Speaking at the cabinet meeting, the president added: "One of the honors of the government is that in 2019, 2019, and 2020, and the early months of 2021, with all the hardships and pressures and the most severe sanctions and economic war, the country has been managed in a way that today everyone acknowledges that the maximum pressure has failed, which is the highest honor of the government.

Rouhani said that even in this three-year economic war, the government refused to accept the advice of some to coupon essential goods.

The President said that today, no one doubts that the enemy’s path of maximum pressure and sanctions has failed, adding, "If it were not for people’s resistance and the endurance of hardships by them, we would have had different conditions today.”

“Despite all the pressure, the enemy could not break our economy, and today they explicitly say that their actions have failed and that they have no choice but to negotiate,” said Rouhani.

Rouhani considered this success as belonging to the Iranian nation and stressed that we should not underestimate this glorious victory, adding, "For the first time in history, the United States is the most isolated government in the United Nations, the Security Council, world public opinion, and The Hague, and even their traditional European allies have left them alone.”

The President stated, "This great victory was achieved thanks to the support and resistance of the people and the guidance of the Supreme Leader, and we should not be indifferent to it. Why don't those who make films with people's money make a film for this defeat of the United States and the victory of the Iranian nation”?

Explaining the reasons for the US defeat against the Iranian nation, Rouhani said, "Under the most severe economic war and inclusive sanctions, the government turned the four corners of the country into a development workshop.”

The President pointed out, "Today, the United States is acknowledging its defeat and inviting Iran for negotiation. Who made the United States speak to the Iranian people in this tone? Didn't the government make the country needless to import petrol and diesel and even exporting these products in these difficult economic conditions? Aren't these worth making a film”?

Stating that the US acknowledgment of failure and request for negotiations and return to their commitments is "penance" in our view, Dr. Rouhani said, "Of course, we need to evaluate the honesty of the Americans in practice, but today the legitimacy of the Iranian nation is revealed to the world, and there is no doubt about the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities.”

Referring to the approach of the Day of Nuclear Technology, the president added, "After the agreement, some people claimed that the government has sold and lost all of the country's nuclear capabilities, but this day is an opportunity for people to see that in these years, despite the economic pressures, what great advances and achievements have been made in the field of the country's nuclear technologies.”

Rouhani continued his speech by stating that the government's achievements in the field of nuclear technology reveal the false allegations against the government, adding, "The Atomic Energy Organisation carried out the tasks set out by the parliament in the plan to revive the JCPOA even beyond the parliament’s law, which proved that what was said about the destruction of the country's nuclear capabilities was not true.”

Rouhani emphasized, "I can strongly claim that our nuclear power has never been as capable as it is today since the beginning of the country's nuclear activities.”

“People were falsely told that the government signed the JCPOA to destroy the country's nuclear power, but today all the country's nuclear facilities are operating more powerfully than ever, and they must apologize to the people for their lies,” he continued.

Rouhani pointed out that today, the enemy has run out of all excuses for making Iran's nuclear activities look illegitimate, adding, "On the other hand, those who claimed that this government is only after negotiation and does not pay attention to empowering the country’s defense capabilities saw that with the help of the JCPOA, the country's arms embargo was lifted and the country's defense today, thanks to the efforts of the government, is definitely many times more than in 2013”.

“The Evidence of this claim was the downing of the enemy’s drone by our own defense system,” he said

Representatives of Iran and the other remaining signatories to the 2015 nuclear deal have held a new round of Vienna talks. During the meeting, envoys from Russia, China, Germany, France, Britain, and Iran agreed to establish two expert-level working groups, work on the lifting of sanctions, and work on nuclear issues.

A US delegation headed by the administration’s special envoy for Iran, Rob Malley, was also in the Austrian capital, but it was not attending the talks. 101
