Iranian movie, the Badger wins Fargo best picture award

The Iranian movie called “The Badger”, directed by Kazem Mollai and produced by Sina Saeidian, received the Diploma of Honor for Best Picture from the 21st Fargo Film Festival in its 22nd international appearance.

Iran Press/America: The Fargo International Film Festival (FFF) is held annually in the categories of film, short film, documentary, experimental, animation, and student films.

Last month, “The Badger" also won Best Picture at the 5th Prospect International Film Festival in the United States.

"The Badger" is the story of a woman named Soodeh Sharifzadegan, played by Vishka Asayesh, who faces a difficult challenge in her personal life just before her remarriage.

The 21st International Film Festival "Fargo" was held March 18-28 2021 in Fargo, North Dakota.
