Envoy:

Moscow (IP) – The fourth consignment of the Sputnik vaccine consisting of 100,000 doses was dispatched to Iran from Moscow on Thursday.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali announced that 420,000 doses of the Sputnik vaccine had been sent to Iran so far and that hundreds of thousands of more doses would be sent to Iran gradually.

He noted that according to the agreement signed between Iran Health Ministry and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the fourth consignment of the Russian COVID vaccine 'Sputnik V', including 100,000 doses, had been delivered to the Iranian embassy on Wednesday and dispatched to Tehran today (Thursday) by Mahan Air Company.

Vaccination of Iranian citizens to prevent COVID-19 with the Russian Sputnik vaccine has started since February 9.
