Iran Press/Asia: Abbas Mousavi stated that what was important for Iran as a large and powerful neighbor of the Caucasus was to maintain peace and stability, return permanent peace to the region, prevent bloodshed, respect national sovereignty, preserve territorial integrity, and respect the rights of minorities.
He noted that Iran's interests had been in the Caucasus' security and the reconciliation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia's two neighboring countries.
"Iran wants good and warm relations with all its neighbors and among its neighbors because a safe and strong region benefits all," he said.
