Kyoto Intl. Student Festival's Grand-Prix goes to Iranian film 'Talker'

Iranian short film 'Talker' won the Grand-Prix at the 23rd Kyoto International Student Film Festival.

Iran press/ Asia: In the closing ceremony of the 23rd Kyoto International Student Film Festival held online on Tuesday, the Iranian short film 'Talker' directed by Mehrshad Ranjbar received the film festival's grand prize. 

As the largest international student festival in Japan, Kyoto Student Festival is held annually by Kyoto University to discover new talents.

Kyoto is known as the city of cinema and students in Japan, where many filmmakers are present, with the students making up 10% of the city's population.
