Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that the United States has withdrawn from JCPOA and must take the lead in returning to it.

Iran Press/Iran News: On the sidelines of the planting saplings ceremony on Wednesday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said: "The United States has withdrawn from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and must take the lead in returning to it."

For a year, the Trump administration confirmed that Iran was fulfilling its obligations, and the agency confirmed that in five reports during that time, he added.

FM Zarif noted: "If the problem is distrust, it is due to Iran's distrust of Western countries because they have never implemented JCPOA properly. They must solve this problem, and as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei stated, we want the implementation of JCPOA and we will implement it."

Referring to the National Week of Natural Resources, Mohammad Javad Zarif said during the ceremony: "The environment is a common human heritage, and we can all work together to build a better heritage. Just as the environment is a common human heritage, so peace, security, progress, and development are common human heritage."
