Iran Press/ Iran News: Hassan Rouhani stated: "The enemies were confident that Iran would collapse with these pressures, but we have passed the difficult days."
The president noted today the countries that had imposed sanctions on Iran had explicitly admitted that the maximum pressure and threats did not work and that it was a mistake.
Rouhani added: "Last year, with the corona pandemic, even developed countries that were not sanctioned had problems in supplying and distributing goods, but the Islamic Republic managed both the corona outbreak and all-out pressure and sanctions, and contrary to the enemy's expectations and not only did Iran not kneel in the face of hardships, but we also moved the country forward."
Referring to the activities and measures taken to overcome the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the President said: "The former US President had announced at the beginning of the Corona outbreak that he wanted to send four ventilators to Iran to help us to fight the disease, but we replied that Iran is exporting ventilators."
"Today, with the help of Iran's talented people in the production of various equipment and medical and therapeutic needs, we have reached self-sufficiency and we are reaching the stage of mass production of Iranian corona vaccine," the president highlighted.
