Iran Press/Iran news: Referring to the inauguration of “Se Chahoon” pelletizing plant in Yazd on Monday, Hassan Rouhani said: "One of the most important measures taken by the government was the development of the steel chain, and this chain has doubled over the past eight years. The activities of this period (his administration) can be compared with the entire history of the country."
Rouhani added: "Completing the steel chain has prevented the sale of raw materials.”
The President expressed hope that the year 1400 (next year in the Iranian calendar starting from March 21, 2021) would be the year of the Iranian nation to achieve great successes in the process of combating coronavirus and the economic war of the enemies.
Referring to the inaugurations of the cultural heritage projects, the President added: "Cultural heritage is very important so that a historical monument such as Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan can have as much impact as tens of volumes of books."
Rouhani noted: "Next year, enough foreign vaccines would be imported as well as the production of home-made vaccines, and all these measures can create better conditions so that we can counter COVID-19.”
The inauguration of 2721 projects of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts worth 15,804 billion tomans kicked off with the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday morning.
