Iran Press/ Iran news: In his weekly press conference on Tuesday, Ali Rabiei said: "In a condition that the US unilaterally withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), talking on more than what the agreement sought is wrong.
Rabiei said that Iran's scalebacks to the JCPOA were in response to the US and European parties' violation of the international deal, noting that in case all sanctions on Iran were lifted the scale-backs would be reversible."
He announced that Iran will welcome any diplomatic initiative that would solve that problem.
With regard to the extradition of Iranian and American prisoners also the official said that Iran is ready to exchange the prisoners, noting that the problem was with the US administration's lack of will.
"Some hasty decisions have been made in this regard," he said, adding: "But, according to Foreign Minister Zarif, the issue could be solved at once."
