Baghdad (IP) – Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced Tehran's readiness to develop and strengthen transportation cooperation with Iraq.

Iran Press/Middle East: During a visit to Baghdad today (Saturday), the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami and the Iraqi transportation minister discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of roads, urban development, and transportation.

This morning, the meeting was held following the visit of the Iranian minister of roads and urban development and his accompanying delegation to Baghdad.

The Iraqi minister said that the meeting focused on strengthening Iran-Iraq relations and cooperation to benefit from Tehran's experience and technical capabilities in sea, air, and rail transportation.

The Iranian minister also announced his country's readiness to expand cooperation and strengthen ties between the two neighboring countries.
