Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Friday that newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,367 cases out of whom 702 patients were hospitalized.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 5, 2021, 1,673,470 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,428,008 recovered, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 81 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 60,512.3,767 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 11,151,509 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 32 in orange, 251 in yellow, and 154 in the blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are red zones.
