Iran Press/ Iran news: "We must believe in our own will and effort," said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf at the closing ceremony of the "Our Blissful Friend" festival.
"God has promised that wherever we resist, and in whatever difficulty, if we stand in His way, victory will be ours."
The Speaker went on to say that the third point is to rely on people.
"Every problem is solved by the people. If the Islamic Revolution succeeded in the face of all these enemies, it was based on believing in divine traditions, reliance on people, and self-belief," he said.
Referring to the characteristics of the late Commander of Iran’s elite Quds Forces, Lt. Gen. Ghasem Soleimani, Iran’s parliament speaker said: "One of the unique attributes of Martyr Soleimani was his bravery besides acting with wisdom. It was this spirit that turned threats and limitations into opportunities through paying attention to the people, and turned opportunities into success."
In order to stand up to murderers and criminals, Ghalibaf said, Martyr Soleimani organized all free men, the common people, and youth from the Islamic nations.”
The closing ceremony of the "Our Blissful Friend" festival was held on Tuesday in Tehran by the Iranian Red Crescent Society in the presence of Iran’s parliament speaker, a number of MPs, the head of the Red Crescent Society, and the daughter of Lt. Gen. Ghasem Soleimani Zeinab Soleimani.
The winners of the festival were honored in various artistic fields at the event.
