Iranian trade official stresses expansion of Eurasia members' trade ties

Gilan (IP)- The chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce considered the membership of Iran in the Eurasian Economic Union a good fortune to expand its ties with the union's member states.

Iran PressIran News: Hadi Tizhoosh said on Tuesday that the development of maritime transport in the Caspian Sea has led to the expansion of trade relations, and tourist shipping lines between the coastal ports of the Caspian littoral states have led to the comprehensive expansion of relations in the Caspian Sea.

Tizhoosh also pointed to the railway connecting Iran's northern city of Rasht to Caspian Port as an opportunity to bring about great development in the trade among the Caspian Sea's littoral states and said the project was scheduled to be finished by the end of the current year. 

The 19th meeting of the International Council of Business Cooperation (ICBC) of the Caspian Sea littoral states was kicked off online among the 5 members of the international council of trade cooperation of the trade chamber in the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce in Gilan, northern Iran.
