Iran Press/Iran News: The meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Parliament of Iran was held this morning with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Javad Zarif.
During the meeting, FM Zarif, in explaining the process of implementation of the law on the strategic action plan, emphasized that various articles of the law are being implemented according to its schedule.
Referring to the implementation of Article 6 of the law, he said: "The Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna, on October 18, 2020, submitted a letter to the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi suspending the voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol."
He added: "After that, the Director-General traveled to Tehran with suggestions to examine how to continue cooperation between Iran and the IAEA after implementing the law and within the framework of safeguards. He had already been told that law enforcement would not be stopped."
During his visit to Tehran and in technical talks with the Atomic Energy Organization, Grossi suggested that the information of the cameras be available, and if the Western side lifts the sanctions within 3 months, they can access more information, he added.
Zarif noted that according to the agreement between the IAEA director-general and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran if we do not reach an agreement within this period, the information will be eliminated.
During the meeting, FM Zarif also presented a report on the latest developments of the Board of Governors, adding: "If a destructive resolution is approved against Iran in the board of Governors' meeting, Iran will react seriously."
"The United States has no right to return to JCPOA until it fulfills its obligations," Zarif added.
