Tunis (IP) - On the tenth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Awakening Movement in Tunisia, over 60,000 people marched in the capital Tunis on Saturday.

Iran Press/Africa: Participants in the march supported the democratic system, the party system, and also the Islamic Ennahda Movement in Tunisia.

Rached Ghannouchi, head of the Islamic Ennahda Movement and speaker of the Tunisian parliament, stressed the need for all political groups to unite to protect the legitimacy of the constitution.

The demonstration was intended to remind the opposition that the Islamic Ennahda Movement, as a political entity, is still stable and capable of ruling Tunisia.
