Tehran (IP)- The Director-General of the Office of the Agriculture Ministry for Economic Affairs reported a $370-million foreign investment in the agriculture sector in the current Iranian year (starting on March 21).

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Khaledi mentioned Switzerland, Germany, France, and Britain as the countries that have invested and cooperated in Iran's agricultural sector.

Khaledi said on Tuesday that the ministry of agriculture in cooperation with the Organization for Investment, Economic, and Technical Association of Iran managed to achieve the license of Financial Direct Investment (FDI). 

The establishment of a livestock industrial slaughterhouse with an investment of $ 50 million by Iraq as well as China's cooperation in the agriculture and fisheries sector are other projects adopted in the form of foreign investment in the agricultural sector this year, Khaledi said.
