Tehran (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran called reliance on moral and Islamic principles a feature of Iran's defense doctrine.

Iran PressIran News: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, at a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution on Tuesday, said: "At a time when some countries and powers are looking at the military power and weapons with the aim of world domination and expansionism, and with that in mind, they have entered the race for supremacy and the arms race, the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on its religious beliefs, does not and will not consider such a goal."

Referring to the fatwa and views of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on defense power and capability, the Iranian president stated that a comprehensive scientific, defense, and security document should be drafted in this regard.
