Chabahar (IP) - The spokesman for the North Indian Ocean Maritime Safety Belt Hybrid Exercise said, "In the coming years, the number of countries participating in the exercise will increase."

Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press, Rear Admiral Gholamreza Tahani added: "This exercise is aimed at conveying the message of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the countries of the region that Tehran seeks to establish international trade."

The spokesman said: "The result of such exercises will be reflected in rescue and relief operations in the air and surface areas."

Admiral Tahani added: "Overall, the exercise was successful and very good."

The spokesman for the North Indian Ocean Maritime Safety Belt Hybrid Exercise said that firefighting operations, night shootings, and rescue operations were carried out on the second day of the exercise, calling it a good experience.

Iran-Russia Maritime Security Belt Hybrid Exercise 2021 began on February 16 in the North Indian Ocean and the Oman Sea to strengthen peace, friendship, and security in the region.
