Tehran (IP)- The CEO of Lordegan Petrochemical Plant announced the export of its first shipment products.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group (Petrol), Mohsen Mahmoudi said the complex operates with an annual production capacity of 670,000 tons of ammonia and 1.80 million tons of urea, touted as the sixth petrochemical complex in the country built by Iranian experts.

"Next month, we will export 30,000 tons of urea to neighboring countries, which will be valued at $260 per ton," he said.

He said that Lordegan Petrochemical Plant had been inaugurated in areas where agriculture and animal husbandry are considered as important capacities of this region, and today it has one of the largest petrochemical complexes in the country, adding: “80% of specialized and non-specialized forces in the facility are local.”

The CEO of Lordegan Petrochemical Plant noted that Lordegan Urea/Ammonia Complex is an export company due to its existing potentialities, which is important to increase production and exports.
