Tehran (IP) - Qatar Foreign Minister's Assistant for Foreign Affairs met with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister in Tehran on Monday, saying the two countries should pay special attention to the political and economical development of the region.

Iran PressIran News: Ali bin Fahd al-Hijri, Qatar's special envoy for regional affairs, also stressed that the countries of the region have the same destiny, so it is necessary to pay special attention to the problems of the region.

In the meeting, referring to the good relations between the two countries, Abbas Araghchi stressed the need to continue consultations on bilateral and regional issues and added: "Regional security is achieved through dialogue with all countries in the region without foreign interference, and Iran talks about security in the Persian Gulf only with the countries of the area."

"Dialogue is the best way to resolve political crises and concerns, and Doha is interested in developing relations between the two countries in various fields," Al-Hajri said.
