Iran Press/ Middle East: Iraqi sources reported on Monday evening that several explosions were heard near Erbil International Airport (northern Iraq).
Three mortar shells reportedly hit the area around Erbil International Airport.
It is reported that one civilian contractor was killed, and five others injured, in addition to the injury of a US service member.
No further details have been released about the blasts, and officials in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi central government have not responded yet.
