Iran press/ Asia: In a message to Hassan Rouhani, congratulating the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the historical ties, the long-standing culture of the two countries, and traditional friendship as a strong basis for bilateral relations.
In the message, the President of Uzbekistan expressed readiness to further expand bilateral relations and take them to a new level. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov also sent a message to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, congratulating him on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
