Iran Press/ Middle East: Ebrahim Ra'isi and Faiq Zidan discussed strengthening and expanding judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries.
According to Iran Press on Tuesday, the three memorandums of understanding were signed after a legal meeting between the judicial officials of the two countries in the presence of the head of the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council.

Raisi arrived in Baghdad on Monday night as he heads a high-level judicial delegation and was welcomed by his Iraqi counterpart this morning at the headquarters of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council.
Iran's Judiciary Chief is also scheduled to meet with the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, President Barham Salih, and Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Mohammed al-Halbousi.
Upon arrival in Baghdad, the head of Iran's judiciary visited the assassination site of Lt-General Qasem Soleimani, commander of the former Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, near Baghdad International Airport.
One of the most important goals of this trip is to follow the case of the assassination of the martyred commanders of the fight against terrorism, Lt-General Qasem Soleimani, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.
The Iraqi judiciary has recently accused a number of people of involvement in the assassination of the martyrs Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, led by former US President Donald Trump.
