Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that some thought they could reach their goal in Yemen through killing, but diplomacy was the only solution.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press conference and responding to the Iran Press question, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Iran’s four-article plan regarding Yemen was on the table, although Iran has close relations with the UN on this issue.

"Yemen’s army and Ansarollah made the most efforts; we hope that this humanistic catastrophe ends in Yemen soon," he added.

Responding to the second question of Iran Press regarding the Iranian judiciary chief's trip to Iraq, Khatibzadeh said that this trip was important since Ebrahim Raisi had an important role in Iran’s policy and his trip could improve Iran-Iraq relations.

Highlighting that Foreign Ministry accompanies him in this trip, Khatibzadeh said: "Pursuing Martyr Soleimani’s assassination and arranging an indictment is the most important part of this trip to Baghdad."

The spokesman announced that Raisi had several meetings with Iraqi officials, and a full report would be given after his return.
