Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammadreza Shanehsaz said the first shipment of Russian vaccine arrived in the country, received at Imam Khomeini Airport, indicating that the contract to buy the vaccine from Russia was implemented.
"According to the contract, the next shipments will be sent to Iran immediately, and we put buying the vaccine from other large companies producing coronavirus vaccine in India and China; we are also trying to co-produce this vaccine in the country with the Cubans," Shanesaz added.
Noting that each person receives 2 dozes of the vaccine, adding that the next shipments he said would be received from the rest of the import resources in the next one or two months in order to reach domestic production in the required volume and quantity.
The head of Iran's Food and Drug Organization went on to say that the vaccine must be registered in the T-Tech system so that it came clear that which one of these vaccines each person has received.
